Berenice Soto


Berenice Soto joined Cuesta Campos in 2002. Since then she has partaken in corporate and real estate matters. Her areas of expertise include corporate, immigration and real estate.

She is highly experienced in local and federal regulatory filings for real estate developments, federal concessions and utility services, compulsory reporting for tax incentives, and government procedures with respect to immigration permits and foreign investment filings. Her experience in contractual matters comprises the day-to-day operation of businesses, including Mexican corporate obligations, as well as contracts and general corporate governance to ensure good standing.

Ms. Soto’s corporate law experience includes due diligences, acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, liquidation and restructuring. On real estate matters, she has worked on the acquisition, sale, subdivision, incorporation of easements and urbanisation processes. In this regard, she has processed construction licences and all of the requirements for the legal operation of important pharmaceutical and electronics plants.

  2. Successfully coordinated acquisitions of real estates through trust agreements;
  3. Successfully represent a pharmaceutical company and electronic manufacturing companies in procedures related to the subdivision, incorporation of easements and urbanisation process;
  4. Represented pharmaceutical companies for the incorporation of their real estates to the water system;
  5. Obtained operation incenses for a sport clothes and running shoes company.
