Luis Cardier


Luis has broad experience in the banking and pharmaceutical industries. He acted as in-house counsel for over 10 years in highly regulated multinational companies as Legal Manager and Legal Director, where he provided legal advise on the design and implementation of strategies to meet the companies’ objectives.

His areas of expertise include compliance, regulatory law, corporate law, corporate restructurings, international legal advice, and international contracts (trade, distribution, manufacturing, representation). He has led multidisciplinary teams to complete cross border operations in Latin-American countries that have allowed the expansion of banking and financial businesses in Peru and Colombia, as well as acquisition of companies in countries like El Salvador and Uruguay.

He has been professor of Roman Law, and a guest speaker at seminars on Corporate matters and on Commercial Law at the Universidad Monteavila in Caracas, Venezuela. Luis has also participated in Board of Directors Meetings from the most recognized global pharmaceutical companies.
