Cuesta Campos is known for its range of experience advising in all kinds of financing, including banking and securities. Our services include legal counsel and assistance in preparing documentation on the structuring and restructuring of domestic and international syndicated loans, project and asset financing, credit operations with special guarantees, including loan structuring with pledges, industrial mortgages and any other kind, guaranty trusts, bridge loans, letters of credit, bank backing, title retention, and others.

The firm has also participated in a broad variety of asset securitizations in Mexico, with wide-ranging experience in public and private offerings, share or debenture offerings, commercial paper and other securities regulated by the Stock Market Law, the drafting of prospectuses and all legal documents required in public securities offerings, and advisement and execution of share issues, authorizations and registrations with the National Banking and Securities Commission and the Mexican Stock Market.

Our experience in securities law includes the securitization of assets and portfolios, the structuring and restructuring of bridge trusts, swaps, and futures and options contracts.

Working with our corporate practice, Cuesta Campos has counseled and represented a variety of financial groups and intermediaries in their corporate and financial matters, including banking, securities and nonbank banks. We have represented the Mexican affiliates of foreign financial institutions in the structuring of their management and oversight bodies and in compliance with financial regulations.

Cuesta Campos has formed a team of attorneys experienced in banking and finance, leasing, currency exchanges, customs warehouses, financial factoring and insurance and bonding. We have experience in proceedings with the Commission for the Defense of Users of Financial Services, the National Insurance and Bonding Commission, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, and all other competent authorities.
