We assist domestic and foreign clients in all aspects of real estate, including the acquisition of properties, either through preliminary and final purchase agreements or trusts, as well as the federal and local tax aspects involved in the acquisition and urbanization of real property.

We also offer legal services and advice in urban development matters and the procurement of permits, licenses and concessions to operate such developments.

We participate in the design and implementation of legal structures (i.e. property divisions, mergers, subdivisions and condominium regimes) for tourism developments as well as commercial, industrial and residential properties. We also work in the establishment of strategic alliances in the real estate business.

With respect to due diligence for the acquisition of real estate, we review various areas related to property ownership including: lien searches, easements and limitations of domain, agrarian reviews and litigation, real estate taxation, public and private service agreements, municipal permits and licenses, agreements with authorities, and other related services.

We also have broad experience in real estate transfers such as leasing, bailments, surface rights, usufruct, easements and trusts.

In addition, we have participated in the drafting and negotiation of highly specialized documents such as hotel management and operating agreements, strategic representation agreements for real estate promotion, construction contracts, work guarantees, sale/leasebacks, commercial or industrial facility leases, and build to suit leases.

Lastly, we have been involved in many types of financial transactions and in the preparation of mortgage deeds and other real estate guarantees.
