Erick Sastré is a Senior Associate at Cuesta Campos. With more than 9 years of experience, Erick has focused his practice on counseling and litigation, whether individual and collective in labor matters. Erick has represented different companies in multiple labor claims before the Local and Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Labor Boards and Labor Courts around Mexico. He has also participated in several strategies to prevent the risk of labor claims. He has experience in Amparo appeals filed before Circuit Collegiate Courts.

Erick has carried out labor inspections practiced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare on different aspects, such as General Working Conditions and Health and Safety, as well as nullity actions before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice.

During his career he has performed several due diligence for companies in order to verify compliance with Mexican labor legislation, participating in the elaboration, revision, and modification of employment agreements, internal work regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements, joint employer-employee committees, profit sharing, codes of conduct, employment policies, including working hours, overtime pay, workers’ compensation, vacation, work tools, travel expenses, among others.

Erick has advised several national and international companies on the implementation of their legal corporate labor structure, in order to prevent any contingencies. Likewise, he has experience in compliance with the new labor reform, advising on substitution processes, union negotiations, and processes before the Mexican Social Security Institute and the National Fund Institute for the Consumption of the Workers.

On the other hand, Erick has participated in individual and collective labor terminations, including strategy implementation, execution, preparation of termination agreements and their ratification before the labor authorities. He has also participated in internal labor investigations.
